Over 200 member companies from various sectors comprising Industry, Trade, Service, ICT and Sectoral Business Associations, partners in the government and non-government agencies, consular corps and the media celebrated the 120th Year Anniversary of Cebu’s biggest and prominent business membership organization – the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s General Membership Meeting (GMM): Recognition Ceremony & Induction of Officers and Trustees last May 31, Wednesday at bai Hotel Cebu.
Formally inducting the new set of Officers and Trustees led by President Charles Kenneth Co was no less than the President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCC), Hon. George Barcelon witnessed by PCCI Past President Bing Limjoco. CCCI has conscientiously set its best foot forward in its commitment to revive better the business communities amidst the global and local crisis, challenges and their unknown uncertainties and to create measures that foster inclusive growth and development in the whole island in partnership with the public sector.
Celebrating its 120 years of prestige and relevance and commemorating the dedication, tenacity and resilience of the Cebuano business leaders, the Chamber recognized its members with enduring bond beyond the Gold and those who are on their 5th and 10th year . They made the Chamber proud and more honored and gratified for their continuing support for the various advocacies to address the interests of the business community and to connect opportunities, grow business and create value.
Moreover, as it continuously seeks to widen its reach pursuant to the goal of being the true voice of the business community in the Province of Cebu – 21 new member companies were formally presented as bonafide Cebu CCI Members through an Induction, gracefully conducted by PCCI Regional Governor and CCCI Past President, Melanie Ng.
The GMM is also an avenue for businesses not only to promote their products and services but also to widen their network and reach. Hosting the large number of prospective clients, Henley and Partners, SAP Philippines, Fasttrack Solutions and Corenergy, Inc. were the GMM sponsors.
The Cebu Chamber concluded the GMM as a champion to connecting opportunities, grow businesses, and create value in the business community, with the Meet and Match among Members where networking and business matching unfolded infinite business opportunities.
