CCCI Unites Stakeholders for Solid Waste Management Forum

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is set to host a pivotal forum on Solid Waste Management and the Circular Economy on October 23 (Monday) at the Golden Peak Hotel, Cebu City.

With a firm commitment to fostering a productive and sustainable ecosystem, CCCI is bringing together industry leaders from diverse sectors, including non-governmental organizations, academia, Local Government Units, and Government Bureaus, among others.

This forum also comes at an opportune time, given the recent passage of the Extended Producer Responsibility Law (EPRA), a significant legislative milestone addressing the nation’s plastic waste challenges. Under this law, product manufacturers will be held accountable for the entire life cycle of their products, from manufacturing to use and end-of-life disposal.

The Forum is presented in partnership with Prime Integrated Waste Solutions and supported by Guun Co. Ltd., Gud Is Better, and FDRCON Company, Inc

Recognizing the vital role, it plays in advancing sustainable practices and driving behavioral change, CCCI acknowledges the need for a proactive approach to solid waste management. As a forward-thinking business organization, CCCI is committed to future-proofing businesses and championing best practices in this field.

Registration is free.

Challenge the norms and rewrite the story of waste. Dive into the Circular Economy and seize incredible opportunities in solid waste management.
