Bayanihan in Action: Task Force Padayon Cebu Reaches Over 1,000 Families in Fourth Wave of Relief for Typhoon Tino Survivors
More than 1,000 families from Danao City and Compostela received food packs, solar lamps, and other essential supplies as Task Force Padayon Cebu carried out its fourth wave of relief operations on November 12, 2025, continuing its mission to bring hope, comfort, and assistance to communities still recovering from the devastation of Typhoon Tino.

In total, the team distributed 1,070 food bags, 30 solar lamps, 50 comforters, 20 pillows with pillowcases, 150 pairs of slippers, 180 pairs of socks, 100 women’s undergarments, and 20 cases of bottled water, providing nourishment, warmth, and dignity to families still rebuilding their lives.

This ongoing initiative stands as a shining example of Bayanihan: the enduring Filipino spirit of unity and compassion. Through the collective effort of Cebu’s business community, civic groups, and partner organizations, Task Force Padayon Cebu continues to transform recovery into resilience and solidarity into tangible action.

Generous support from SM Foundation Inc., coordinated through the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), together with contributions from Ms. Judith Holganza, BES Pacific Hardware, and Container Conversions and Modifications, Inc.
