Philip Bunker 

1936-1937 President

Philip Bunker, a British national, was CCC President in the first two years of the ten-year Commonwealth era.  In CCC, he represented Smith Bell and Company Ltd., a pioneering CCC member that was a leading figure in the export-import trade.   

Bunker’s term was preceded  by  eight (8) consecutive American CCC  Presidents from 1910 to 1935.  After him, the  last foreigner to head CCC, it was the turn of  the  locals  in  1938, with its first President in Ramon Aboitiz.
