
Typhoon Rai “Odette” has ravaged the entire Central & Southern Cebu destroying houses and business establishments, leaving the area WITHOUT ELECTRICITY, weak to NO CONNECTIVITY and SHORT ON WATER SUPPLY. Cebu BADLY NEEDS all the help that we can to provide immediate relief to the millions of people who are currently suffering and to eventually rebuild and recover from the devastating impact of the strongest typhoon it has ever encountered!

CCCI thru #BangonCebu donated solar powered lights-charger with radio to 122 households in Barangay Caw-oy in Olango Island whose homes were totally damaged by Super Typhoon Odette last Dec. 16, 2021 and remain in darkness to date. This was made possible with the donations of officers/staff of Isla Lipana-PWC and Eastern Telecommunications thru the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.

#BangonCebu distributed hygiene kits to the residents of Barangay Simala, Sibonga, Barangay Ocana, Carcar and Barangay Guiwanon, Argao who were affected by the Super Typhoon Odette. The hygiene kits were made possible with the donations of Siu Ping, Charles Robert Gothong, Cebu Progress Marketing and Cebu Philippine Tang Yu Foundation, Inc. through the Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (CCCI).

#BangonCebu distributed the 5th set of Waves for water bucket filter sets for drinking water requirements to Nug-as, Alcoy and Mantalongon and Obo, Dalaguete made possible with donations from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) through Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CCCI).

#BangonCebu distributed Waves for water bucket filter sets for drinking water requirements of upland areas of Consolacion namely in Barangays Sacsac, Cabangahan and Tolotolo made possible with donations from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) through Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CCCI).

#BangonCebu distributed food packs to the 200 affected coastal residents of Purok 12 Okra, Poblacion, Talisay City. The food packs were procured from donations of Trinity Insurance Brokers Cebu Inc. through the Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

#BangonCebu distributed Waves for water bucket filter sets for drinking water requirements of upland areas in south Cebu namely in Barili, Dumanjug, and Malabuyoc donated by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) through Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CCCI) last January 20, 2022 for Super Typhoon Odette victims.

43 Solo Mothers from Balamban were given cash-aid and 1 box of bottled water each courtesy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) New Zealand Embassy – Manila, Philippines through the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the CCCI-Balamban Chapter and LGU.
