Every child’s future begins with a single foundation: the experiences, values, and relationships formed during their earliest years. Long before careers are chosen or dreams take shape, children learn how to think, communicate, persevere, and care for others. These formative years are where confidence is nurtured, curiosity is ignited, and character begins to take root.

At Childlink Learning Center & Childlink High School, Inc., education goes beyond preparing children for the next grade level. It is about preparing them for life. Every classroom experience is intentionally designed to help children become compassionate, resilient, and capable individuals who are ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
For over 29 years, Childlink has embraced a philosophy that recognizes learning as more than academic achievement. While literacy and numeracy remain essential, the school believes that equally important are the values and life skills that children carry with them long after they leave the classroom. Communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, adaptability, and empathy are cultivated alongside academic excellence, enabling learners to become confident problem-solvers and responsible members of society.

This commitment has guided Childlink since its establishment on June 30, 1997, when it first opened its doors as Childlink Playcenter with only 15 learners. From these humble beginnings, the institution has grown into a respected educational community offering Preschool, Elementary, and High School education. Today, as a fully recognized institution under the Department of Education, Childlink continues to evolve while remaining faithful to its mission of nurturing every child’s unique potential.
At the heart of Childlink’s educational approach is the belief that character is the foundation upon which lifelong success is built. This philosophy is reflected in its signature programs, which include:
- Character-based education
- Bilingual (English-Chinese) instruction
- Special Education (SPED) programs
- Life Skills and experiential learning

Together, these programs create meaningful learning experiences that develop children intellectually, emotionally, socially, and practically. Students are encouraged not only to excel academically but also to become respectful leaders, collaborative teammates, compassionate friends, and lifelong learners.
A defining milestone in Childlink’s journey is its recognition as the First School of Character in the Visayas, accredited by the Character Education Partnership (CEP) in Washington, D.C., USA. More than a prestigious distinction, this recognition affirms Childlink’s commitment to embedding values into every aspect of school life: from classroom instruction and leadership opportunities to community engagement and everyday interactions.

The school’s success is built upon a strong partnership among educators, parents, and students, creating a nurturing environment where every child is known, supported, and empowered to grow. By fostering both competence and character, Childlink ensures that learners are equipped not only for academic milestones but also for the responsibilities and opportunities they will encounter throughout life.
As the demands of the future continue to evolve, the importance of investing in children’s foundational years has never been greater. Childlink remains steadfast in its vision of shaping future-ready learners who possess not only knowledge and skills but also integrity, resilience, empathy, and purpose.
Because when children are grounded in character during their earliest years, they grow into individuals who are prepared to lead, contribute, and make a meaningful difference in the world.
