CEBU, Philippines, 01 October 2024 — Concluding as another milestone of the 3-month long Cebu Business Month, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated the CBM Thanksgiving 2024 and Appreciation Night on September 20 at the Atrium Wing, SM Seaside City Cebu, underscoring its dedication to recognizing and honoring its most valued partners, including government and non-government organizations and omnibus partners from the media that have been instrumental in its success.
The evening kicked off with a compelling opening message from CCCI President Jay Yuvallos, followed by a Thank-you Message from VP for Cebu Business Mobilization and chairman of CBM 2024, Regan King, a short congratulatory message from Cebu City Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, and most importantly, the Turnover of the iconic CBM emblem and Chairmanship to Anton Perdices as the 2025 CBM chairman, capping off a successful event that underscored the importance of mobilizing Cebu businesses as the Cebu Chamber’s legacy project that continues to inspire, promote, and grow businesses in Cebu.
CBM 2025 Chairman Anton Perdices is Chief Operating Officer of the AboitizPower Distribution Utilities. Anton also serves as the President and Chairman of Aboitiz Construction Inc., one of the most reliable and respected industrial contractors in the Philippines. He also holds the position of Honorary Consul of the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines. Currently, Anton also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of the following companies: AboitizPower Distributed Renewables, Inc., Cebu Private Power Corporation, Cotabato Ice Plant, Davao Wood Preserving Company, Inc., East Asia Utilities Corporation, San Fernando Electric Light and Power Co., Inc, San Fernando Electric Light and Power Co., Inc. Guests savored an array of delicious dishes from Café Laguna, and the night concluded with the presentation of plaques and certificates to the esteemed partners, honoring their valuable contributions and achievements.
