The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), is set to offer capacity building training workshops for the food entrepreneurs and manufacturers on July 18-19 and 21 at the Cebu Chamber Centre, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
Identified as essential in the food industry, Food Packaging and Labelling Training scheduled on July 18 – 19 (Tuesday and Wednesday) will delve not only on the importance of packaging, characterization of different packaging material but also in the definition of roles and responsibilities in the food manufacturing industry, and most importantly on the proper handling, storage, and disposal of packaging materials.
Moreover, the Uncertainty of Measurement and Length Calibration Application Training Workshop scheduled on July 21 (Friday) will equip participants with the necessary expertise to evaluate and report the measurement uncertainty in length calibration. The training will follow the guidelines provided by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and will reference the ISO-GUM standard. Attendees will delve into various topics, including sources of errors, steps in determining measurement uncertainty, applying corrections, and expressing uncertainty in calibration reports.
Registration is pegged at Php 2,500.00 VAT exclusive for Mastering Length Calibration Accuracy workshop while P5,000 plus VAT for the Food Packaging and Labeling workshop for CCCI Members. For Non-Members, rates are P3,500 plus VAT and P6,000 plus VAT, respectively.
