Cebu Chamber Supports DTI Sinulog Fiesta Fair 2026 to Boost MSMEs and Inclusive Local Economy

Cebu celebrates Sinulog while advancing entrepreneurship, market access, and sustainable business growth.

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) reaffirmed its support for the DTI Sinulog Fiesta Fair 2026, which officially opened on January 14, 2026, at the Main Mall Atrium of SM City Cebu. The Chamber’s participation aligns with its strategic priorities of enterprise development, market access, advocacy, and inclusive economic growth, reinforcing its commitment to Cebu’s business community.

Organized annually by the Department of Trade and Industry – Cebu Provincial Office, the Sinulog Fiesta Fair provides a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to showcase their products, expand market reach, and connect with consumers and potential business partners. For CCCI, the fair represents a tangible avenue to support local businesses, strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and advance Cebu’s competitiveness in the region.

Now on its 20th year, the fair features 29 exhibitors: 26 from Cebu, two (2) from Bohol, and one (1) from Palawan – covering industries such as handicrafts, fashion accessories, sculptures, souvenir items, printing services, and consumer goods. The diversity of exhibitors highlights Filipino creativity and innovation, while reinforcing the Chamber’s goal of promoting sustainable, locally driven economic growth.

During the opening program, Mr. Felix Taguiam, Past President of CCCI and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Regional Governor for Central Visayas, emphasized the critical role of partnerships between government and the private sector in driving MSME growth, market access, and entrepreneurship development.

“MSMEs are the heartbeat of our communities and local economy. Initiatives like the DTI Sinulog Fiesta Fair provide our members and other local entrepreneurs with opportunities to grow their businesses, reach new markets, and strengthen the enterprise ecosystem-precisely the outcomes the Cebu Chamber is committed to achieving,” Mr. Taguiam said.

By supporting the Sinulog Fiesta Fair, CCCI advances its strategic priorities:

The DTI Sinulog Fiesta Fair 2026 runs until January 21, inviting the public to support local, buy local,
