Henry Gasser, an American railway engineer was with the group of pioneering American investors in the transport sector who organized in 1905 the Philippine Railway Company-Cebu (PRC-Cebu) led by J.G. White, Chairman of the Board and Chaz. M. Swift, President.
Henry Gasser became President of PRC-Cebu in 1930, twenty-five years after he joined the railway company. Gasser was able to maximize the operations of the company, which he represented as a pioneering member of Cebu Chamber of Commerce (CCC).
