Kenneth B. Day

1921-1925 President

During President Day’s term, both exports and imports continued to grow. (Handbook and Directory 1921). The same kind of products were exported and imported. Favorable trade balance was also seen.

President Day saw a bright future for Cebu, pointing out that its non-dependence on any one main source of export and import was a safety net against temporary depression. He also foresaw the development of other industries, like coal mining and rope making. (Presidents’s Final Report 1925).
