FRANCIS DY

Francis DY is a well-known business leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist in the Philippines. With a career spanning several decades, he has made a name for himself as a visionary in the field of LED solutions, marketing, and security. His passion for innovation, combined with his drive and dedication, has made him one of the most respected names in the business community.

DY is the President & Managing Director of Greenworld LED Solutions, Inc., where he leads the company’s efforts to provide sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solutions to clients around the world. He is also the Proprietor of Hello Marketing, where he offers his expertise in strategic marketing and branding to clients in various industries. In addition, he is the President of GKB-Hello Security Solutions Inc., where he provides cutting-edge security solutions to clients in the Philippines and abroad.

Throughout his career, DY has been an active member of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he has held several leadership positions over the years. He was the Chairman of the Committee on Water in 2016, the CSR Committee Chair in 2015, and the Overall Chairman of the Cebu Business Month in 2015. He also served as a Board of Trustee for the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2014 to 2017 and was the Chairman of the Committee on Utilities in 2018. In 2016, he became the Chairman of the Unified Communication Alert Response System (UCAReS), a role he still holds today.

DY is not just a business leader but also an innovator. He is the owner of Patent Invention No. 1-2005-000597, which is a web-based interactive virtual education system that has been granted protection until 2025. His passion for education and technology is further reflected in his educational background, where he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Management from the University of San Carlos and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the same institution. He is also a licensed Civil Engineer, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of San Carlos Technological Center in 1983.

In addition to his business and technology interests, DY is also a philanthropist and community leader. He is the Vice President of the Cebu Long Se Dy Association since 2012 and a member of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2003. Through his leadership and advocacy, he has made a positive impact on the lives of many people in the community.
