CCCI elects new set of Trustees for 2023

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), officially named the new set of Board of Trustees (BOT) elected through its 3rd virtual BOT Elections, in partnership with PWC Isla Lipana & Co., during its General Membership Meeting last February 23, 2023 at Mediterranean Hall, Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu City.

Encompassing various sectors of Cebu’s business community, this year’s BOT elections presented 10 vacant seats where 17 candidates vied for.

The new trustees for the industry sector are Cebu Steel CorporationAssistant to the President, Charles Kenneth Co; International Pharmaceuticals Inc(IPI) CebuVice-President for Business Development, Stanley Uang; andPrimehomes Development Corporation President, Benedict Que.

Elected for the trade sector are B. Benedicto & Sons Co. Inc Vice-President for External, Bernard Chioson; Greenworld LED Solutions Inc President & Managing Director, Francis Dy; and RDAK Transport Inc. General Manager, Regan Rex King.

For the service sector, the new trustees are P&A Grant Thornton (Punongbayan & Araullo) Partner & Head of Cebu Branch, Wendell Gahinhin; Able Services President & CEO, Edwin Vincent Ortiz; and Bai Global Properties Group, LLC Inc (Bai Hotel Cebu) Vice-President for Operations and General Manager, Alfred Reyes;

The sectoral association newly elected trustee is Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management-Cebu Chapter (AAAIM-CEBU) Immediate Past President, Virgilio “Nonoy’ Espeleta.
