Envisioned to be the engine of Cebu’s business growth towards global competitiveness, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) unswervingly upholds its commitment to deliver high quality and innovative services to meet its members’ needs and continually improve the effectiveness of its quality management system.
CCCI garnered commendable remarks following its external audit carried out by TÜV Rheinland Phils. Inc. on November 12 and successfully maintained its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification.
Being the only ISO-certified Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, CCCI constantly upholds an efficient QMS standard. Having been recertified is proof of its unwavering efforts to meet the requirements for international standards of a documented quality management system.
CCCI’s ISO Certification covers the design, development, and provision of Internally Oriented Services (Chamber Growth, Finance and Administration Service) and Externally Driven Services (Business Development, Cebu Business Mobilization, Business Advocacy and Policy) for the business community in general and its members in particular.
The ISO certification highlights the seal of business excellence that demonstrates the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet and better still, exceed the customer and regulatory requirements. This is reflective of how the governance body and management has ensured that CCCI is continual excels in all aspects not limited to physical infrastructure and amenities but also capacitating its human capital that mobilizes champions and stakeholders.
The standards are based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and expertise of top management, the process owners using a team approach and terms of reference to efficiently and effectively deliver its services.
