Measure with Confidence and Accuracy with CCCI x DOST 7 Calibration of Weighing Scales Training-Workshop

When was the last time you checked and calibrated your weighing scales?

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), a leading advocate for business excellence and innovation, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 7 – Regional Standards and Testing Laboratory (RSTL), is set to conduct the Calibration of Weighing Scales Training-Workshop on May 17, 2024, at the IEC Convention Center, Cebu City.

Renowned expert Engr. Roberto B. Edra will serve as the resource speaker, sharing his vast knowledge and expertise. Through a dynamic blend of engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and practical hands-on exercises, participants will delve into the realm of Metrology and Legal Metrology, with a particular focus on its application within the Philippines.

Designed to enhance practical skills and uphold international standards, the Calibration of Weighing Scales Training-Workshop presents a significant opportunity for professionals to deepen their expertise and better understand that calibration is an investment that builds customer confidence. Using non-calibrated equipment can lead to production problems such as: unscheduled downtime and extra cost of money.

Participants will explore various essential aspects of metrology, including the complexities of metrology laws, determining the appropriate class of test weight for calibration, and mastering the calibration process in accordance with EURAMET standards.

Workshop investment fees are pegged PHP 3,360 for CCCI members and PHP 4,480 for non-members. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spots and take advantage of this unique learning opportunity. Group rates are also available.
